Mr. Joshua Gibbons
Executive Head.
Mr. Gibbons first trained as a teacher at the University of Sydney in Australia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Human Movement & Health Education and after relocating to the U.K, Mr. Gibbons worked as a GCSE and A-Level P.E teacher at Pedmore Technology College in Birmingham and also St Mark’s Catholic School in London, before spending six years at Isleworth & Syon School for boys as the Deputy Curriculum Leader for P.E and the whole school Gifted and Talented Coordinator.
After completing his Masters in Education at St Mary’s University in London, where he received a Distinction in Change Leadership, Mr. Gibbons moved to Kenya in 2014 to take up post at Kenton College, Nairobi. Over the past six years, Mr. Gibbons has held two senior roles, first as the Deputy Head Pastoral and then as the Deputy Head Planning & Development and 1st Deputy to the Headmistress.
Mr. Gibbons believes that schools are unique places that offer individuals the chance to confidently form their own identity; finding their place in the world, along a journey of shared experiences, both in and out of the classroom.
