Head Teacher's Introduction
A warm welcome to St. Christopher’s International School, Preparatory.
At SCIS we have amazing teachers who work to ensure all pupils are reaching their full potential. Our school community works as a team to fulfil the vision of ‘challenging each pupil to attain excellence in every aspect of life’.
In Preparatory we strive to ensure each of our pupils is safe, happy and learning. The school pillars of Academic, Sports and Performing Arts give our pupils a broad and balanced curriculum.
Christian principles and values guide our school and pupils.
I am very proud to be Head Teacher at SCIS Preparatory and I look forward to welcoming our pupils to school, where they will have access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Academic Structure
St. Christopher’s Preparatory school has a warm and friendly pupil-centred environment with dedicated teachers whose mission is to help each pupil discover and develop in a holistic manner. The primary school is for children aged 5-11 years.
The preparatory classes are divided into Key Stage 1 (Years 1-2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6). All the Core and Foundation subjects are taught. Core subjects are English, Mathematics and Science. The Foundation subjects are Humanities (Geography, History and Religious Education), ICT, Music, PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education), PE, Swimming, Art and Design, Design and Technology, French and Kiswahili.
In each term, the pupils are assessed to measure their progress and identify strengths and areas in need of additional attention. We strive to go the extra mile for all learners, regularly providing intervention where required.
Beyond the Classroom.
We have a robust co-curriculum program on offer since we strive to offer a balanced curriculum to all learners.
Clubs
They run throughout the week and children get a chance to discover and nurture talent as they build their character while engaging in varied club activities.
Music
We have a vibrant music program on offer. Children get opportunities to join the school choir, perform in drama productions and Christmas concerts.
Sport
Our Prep School offers key sports disciplines included in the British National Curriculum guidelines through all the Key Stages.
Trips
Day and overnight trips are offered to give children real life experiences of some of the things that they learn in the classrooms. Additionally, the trips serve to reinforce concepts learnt in the classrooms.

Whether you are joining us as a day pupil, full time boarder or weekly boarder, our Admission Team is ready to assist you as you begin your St. Christopher’s journey.
We accept applications for all pupils from all over the world and at any stage of their educational journey. Our Admission Team will be happy to book you in for a tour of the school and provide you with any information you may need.
